My name is Dr. Onowhuke precious a young medical doctor working in Nigeria. I never imagined that one day, I would be fighting to save the very life of the man who inspired me to become a healer,my father.

A few months ago, my father was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD), a condition that has slowly stolen his strength and peace. He now requires regular dialysis sessions to stay alive, and the doctors have advised that he will eventually need a kidney transplant to have a chance at a normal life again.

Each dialysis session costs more than what I can afford from my modest salary as a doctor. The treatments are exhausting for him physically, emotionally, and financially. As a doctor, I’ve seen many patients struggle with this condition, but watching my own father hooked up to a dialysis machine, fighting for every day, has broken me in ways I can’t describe.

I am raising funds to cover the cost of his ongoing dialysis, medications, and ultimately a kidney transplant when we find a suitable donor. Every naira contributed will go directly toward:

Dialysis sessions (3 times weekly)

Essential medications to manage his blood pressure, anemia, and kidney function

Pre-transplant investigations and surgery costs

Post-transplant medications and follow-up care

My father has always been a kind, hardworking man ,a public servant who sacrificed everything to ensure I could become the person I am today. Now it’s my turn to fight for him.
