Campaign Story
Support the 3rd National Àdìrẹ and Cultural Festival – Threads of Legacy, Pattern of Prosperity
Tagline; From our Roots to the World
Hello,
We are the Asani and Aduke Foundation, a passionate nonprofit initiative committed to youth and women empowerment through cultural heritage, entrepreneurship, and creative skills development. In partnership with ATJ Textiles, we proudly organize the National Àdìrẹ and Cultural Festival, Nigeria’s leading celebration of indigenous textile art, cultural pride, and community empowerment.
We are currently raising funds to host the 3rd edition of our festival, scheduled for November 10–15, 2025, in Abeokuta, Ogun State—the historic home of Àdìrẹ.
Why We Need Your Support
This year’s festival theme, “Threads of Legacy, Pattern of Prosperity,” reflects our mission to weave tradition into modern opportunity. However, organizing a world-class event that showcases local artisans, trains new talents, supports women-led businesses, and promotes cultural tourism requires substantial resources.
Despite our passion and growing impact, we are facing funding gaps due to rising costs and the scale of this year’s expanded program. We are seeking contributions—big or small—to help us make this year’s edition inclusive, impactful, and inspiring.
Why It Matters
For us, this is more than a festival. It’s a platform to:
Train and equip young people and women in Adire production and creative entrepreneurship.
Preserve and promote indigenous cultural heritage through exhibitions, performances, and storytelling.
Support local economies and small businesses through vendor booths and value-added crafts.
Amplify Nigeria’s global creative voice and potential for textile and heritage-based tourism.
What Your Donations Will Support
Funds raised will go towards:
Training materials and empowerment kits for selected youth and women
Venue setup and logistics
Booth allocations for under-resourced vendors/artisans
Cultural performances and live shows
Kids’ art and Adire discovery workshops
Branding, promotion, and festival documentation
Security, volunteers, and general operations
Your Support Can Make a Difference
Your contribution, no matter the amount, directly supports lives, legacies, and livelihoods. Together, we can ensure that culture becomes a tool for empowerment, not just nostalgia.
Thank you in advance for your generous support.
You’re not just funding a festival—you’re investing in futures, identity, and the heartbeat of a people
With Gratitude
