My Name is Richard Edmanley and I live in Port Vila, which is the Capital of Vanuatu, a small island nation in the south pacific. I am raising funds on behalf of Atoll Aqua, a water drilling company I currently work for, and our at goal Atoll Aqua is to help communities have access to clean water supply. We do water drilling services, Solar pump installations and provide equipment’s that filter and clean water like UV treatments and filters. We also have a Facebook page- Atoll Aqua which is where we are contacted by people here who are interested.

There are many small islands in Vanuatu that make up different provinces and most of the communities in these different provinces suffer from water shortages and do not yet have a source of disinfected water. Villagers from the outer islands that are further away from the towns rely on streams, ponds, and rainwater for their daily water demand. Whenever there is dry season, these water sources are completely low. Since these villages and communities are much further away from towns, they find it hard to reach out to resources that could help them with the water scarcity problem.

With the funds provided to Atoll Aqua, we could acquire more bore hole drilling and solar pump equipment’s, acquire storage tanks, UV treatment equipments and find better means of transports to reach these communities in the outer islands of Vanuatu to do borehole drillings and solar pump installations and fetch water from the underground. The fetched water can be then preserved in storage tanks and treated with UV treatments, so they become safer and clean.

The funds provided will also be used to maintain and repair the storage tanks and the clean water then can be used in by everyone in these communities especially in clinics and dispensaries, local primary schools, churches, and community halls. Having access to clean water, communities could have better sanitations, safe drinking, and cooking water, also grow gardens and poultry projects that help grow more food for families.

Please help fund Atoll Aqua company as we will do the borehole drillings and solar pump installation to help our communities by fetching and preserving clean underground water- as we all know water is life! Any funds received will be administered by the director of the company.
