Campaign Story

Hello, my name is Tunji Akintunde, a Nigerian filmmaker and video editor.

 

Over the past year, I have faced serious health challenges — high blood pressure that nearly caused a stroke, complications from fake drugs, and urinary issues affecting my kidney. I spent over ₦3,000,000 on treatment and months in the hospital. By God’s grace, I am now recovering, but supporting my child and myself is still very difficult.

 

I need your help to start a small foodstuff/provision business that will allow me to feed my family and take care of my child while I regain my strength. The total amount I need to get started is ₦500,000.

 

I am sharing this appeal privately because I do not want my health struggles to be public due to my career in the film industry.
