Our Mission: To restore the sanctity and comfort of rural masājid, ensuring that every believer has a dignified place to worship.
Install solar panels to provide consistent electricity.
• Renovate and equip ablution areas. • Repaint and repair the mosque structures.
• Provide new mosque mats and Qur’ans.
• Install proper sound systems for the call to prayer.
• Employ maintenance staff to keep the mosques clean and functional.
Our Target ₦15,000,000 This amount will allow us to fully renovate up to three rural masājid, with each masjid having a budget of ₦5,000,000 depending on the funds raised.

This project is an opportunity to invest in sadaqah jaariyah; a reward that continues long after we are gone.

Akhwāt Foundation Ramadan 2026 Project This Ramadan, the Akhwāt Foundation is launching a project titled “Revive the Houses of Allah” to renovate and restore three rural masājid in the outskirts of Abuja, Nigeria.
In many rural communities, the masājid have fallen into disrepair. The walls are worn, the floors are cracked, and the ablution areas are often broken or unusable. These are the houses of Allah, yet many stand in need of revival.
Our aim is to bring them back to life so that they once again serve as clean, welcoming spaces for prayer, learning, and community.
