Campaign Story

My name is Rex, and this is the beginning of my lifelong dream which I tag: Project Nostalgia; to build one of the biggest off-grid Homestead in Nigeria.

I’ve always believed that a person’s true purpose lies in creating something that can feed, something that was already meant to be by nature, creating that as employment opportunities, and inspiring others. My goal is to start small — with a few acres of land where there’s larger Acres surrounding so it can gradually be expanded into 10, 50, and eventually 100 acres, powered by nature, clean energy, and hard work.

Project Nostalgia represents more than a farm — it’s a dream of returning to the past, returning to nature, returning to why we came to live, that’s why it’s tagged: Project Nostalgia; we all live and eat, everything we’re going through to have jobs is to finally put food on the table, more especially escaping GMO produce, retuning to simplicity, to self-sustainability, self sufficiency. It’s about reviving what’s been forgotten, everyone thinking they’ve outgrown by acquiring high paying jobs; but this is a type of deep Matrix — View; Nostalgic community work, natural soil beauty, and peace of mind all acquired by nature.

I plan to begin with ₦2 million as my starting capital since that’s the least cost to acquire the least Acres of Land in rural areas here in Nigeria; then build from there, till the end goal; one step at a time. But I know I can’t do it alone. That’s why I’m reaching out for help from people who believe in independence, in growth, and in the beauty of starting from scratch. The Nostalgic feelings of the past.

Every contribution, big or small, will go toward purchasing Land first because that’s definitely the main starting point that everything’s gonna base on; everything is based on Land: Shelter and electric sources setup, water systems, and the planting seasons. My goal is to make this not just my dream, but a reality to show that everything is possible as long as you have the imagination of it, that others can learn from, visit, and even join.
