Please help Me Give My Father, Sunday Akpan Ekerette, a Dignified Farewell

My father, Sunday Akpan Ekerette, aged 88, from Nyara-Enyin Nton Uno, Ikot-Ekpene, Akwa-Ibom State, Nigeria, passed away in July 2025 after battling with illness. His passing was sudden and has left his family heartbroken.

My father was a kind, hardworking, and deeply loving man who devoted his life to supporting his family and members of the community. He was a religious and respected figure in the community, known for his generosity, wisdom, and willingness to help others in times of need. His life was one of service, humility, and strength.

Today, I carry the responsibility of giving him a befitting burial. However, I am facing significant financial hardship. After graduating from school, I have not yet secured a well-paying job. Recently, my apartment was demolished, leaving me displaced, and I have since struggled to regain stability. These circumstances have made it extremely difficult to cover the funeral expenses.

With my humble and hopeful heart, I am seeking support to help cover the general funeral costs and ensure my father receives the dignified farewell he truly deserves. Any contribution no matter the amount will go directly toward honoring his memory. I don’t have money for transport to attend his burial in the village.
