- Title: “Stitching Dreams: My Journey in Fashion Design” Hello, my name is Amaechi Victor, and I am a passionate fashion designer with a dream to create unique, sustainable clothing that empowers individuals to express their true selves. My journey into the world of fashion began at a young age, but was brought into reality during the ASSU strike era in 2022,when I fully took a step to get a skill amidst being a student in his 400l as at then. Fashion has always been more than just clothing for me; it’s a form of art, a way to tell stories, and a means of self-expression. I faced challenges that made pursuing my passion difficult. [The financial strength to afford an automatic sewing machine or capital to start small, maybe buy material and explore my mind in fabric design but I wish to overcome that soon, I pray. ] Despite these hurdles, my love for fashion never wavered. I taught myself the intricacies of design through online tutorials and books, Just to make sure I don’t lose focus because of life struggles . Each piece I crafted was a step closer to my dream Now, I am ready to take my passion to the next level and turn it into a thriving business. I envision a brand that not only offers stylish and innovative designs but also prioritizes sustainability and ethical practices. My goal is to create clothing that not only looks good but feels good to wear, knowing that it was made with care for both the environment and the people involved in its production. To bring this vision to life, I need your support.
