Campaign Story

Abby, 16, is drowning.

Her 7-year-old sister, Ari, is battling cancer — treatments, hospital stays, and the constant fear of losing her are wearing Abby down. She’s angry at God. Distant from friends. Shutting down. Her parents are stretched thin, and Abby feels invisible — like she’s just another burden in a house full of pain.

When her mom forces her to attend a week-long Christian summer camp — “to get you out of the house, to breathe, to remember you’re not alone” — Abby goes reluctantly. She doesn’t expect to find healing. She expects to be reminded of everything she’s losing.

But at Camp Zion, she meets a crew of teens carrying their own wounds.
