A Humble Plea for Help

My name is Martylaura, and I am reaching out with a humble heart to ask for help for my family. Before we relocated from Abuja to Asaba, my husband borrowed ₦10,000,000 from a pastor to help us meet important financial needs and move forward with our lives. At the time, we genuinely believed that we would be able to repay the money as we worked and rebuilt our finances. Unfortunately, things have not gone the way we hoped. Since relocating to Asaba, we have struggled to find stable and well-paying work. Despite our efforts to survive and improve our situation, our income has not been enough to clear the debt. The situation has now become extremely frightening for our family. The person my husband owes has been repeatedly threatening to have him arrested because we have been unable to repay the money. We are not asking people to solve all our problems for us. We are simply asking for a helping hand during a very difficult season of our lives. Any amount, no matter how small, would bring us closer to reducing this debt and giving our family some peace again. ₦1,000, ₦5,000, ₦10,000 or any amount you can genuinely afford would mean so much to us. We are praying and hoping that, through the kindness of people who care, we can raise enough to settle this debt, protect our family from further distress, and have the opportunity to rebuild our lives.
