My name is Favour . Last week I did something that felt impossible: I resumed work at my new job in Utako, Abuja.

Today I’m doing something harder: asking for help so I don’t lose it.

I moved to Abuja with nothing but this job offer. To survive until resumption, I borrowed ₦90,000 for transport, food, and 6 nights in a cheap guest house. That money is due now and I have no way to pay it.

Worse: I have no place to stay. I’m currently squatting and it’s not safe or sustainable. I found a small self-contain in Karu for ₦350,000 per year. The landlord wants full payment this week or he gives it out.

If I lose this room, I lose proximity to work. If I can’t pay my debt, I lose peace of mind. If both happen, I lose the job I just started.

I need ₦440,000 total:
₦350,000 = 1 year rent for a safe room in Karu, so I can get to Utako daily
₦90,000 = Debt repayment to the people who fed me when I was starving

Why this is different:
I’m not asking you to fund a dream. I’m asking you to protect a reality. I already have the job. I’ve already resumed. This is the last hurdle between me and independence.

₦1,000 from 440 people ends this nightmare. ₦5,000 from 88 people means I sleep well tonight.
