CONCEPT WORKING TITLE: REUNION

CONTROLLING IDEA: We are only sure of one side of the story – our side. MAIN CHARACTER: Sabrina is a twenty-six-year-old successful songwriter. She loves to explore the world and believes it’s too big of a place to hide in your bedroom. Surprisingly, Sabrina is also reticent. She finds it hard communicating her feelings to others. CHARACTER WANTS: Sabrina wants Chike, a long-time boyfriend, to forgive her for leaving eight years ago without contacting him. CHARACTER NEEDS:  She needs to realize that Chike has the choice to forgive her or not. TENSION/CONFLICT: In getting the forgiveness she desires, Sabrina has to face Chike again and recount to him the reason why she left- the past that took a definite toll on her. SYNOPSIS: Sabrina finally gets a message from Chike assuring her that he would like to see her again after eight years but she is scared of the meeting and expresses this through her keyboard playing. Chike arrives at Sabrina’s and can’t help but gush out in painful words the hurt he has held in his heart since Sabrina left him. Chike is determined to leave without ever seeing Sabrina again but firstly, he wants to hear her say something. Sabrina attempts to speak and Chike realizes she’s dumb. Sabrina can only scribble on a note pad “I am Sorry”.   VISUAL APPEAL:
