Campaign Story

Rev Emmanuel Garba Chawai is a missionary, married with two children. He began his ministry with the ECWA church and later the Nigerian Baptist Convention after which he received a conviction to proceed with his missionary assignment within the Nigerian Police Chaplaincy. Prior to his ailment and up till now, Rev Emmanuel serves as the Reverend in charge of the All Saints Protestant Church Bompai under the Nigerian Police Chaplaincy, Zone One Kano State Nigeria. Few years ago, he developed some health complication which was diagnosed as hypertension and he was placed on medication. While being treated for this, his health continued to deteriorate which called for further medical investigation in late 2020. He was subsequently diagnosed with kidney failure in January 2021. Ever since he was diagnosed with kidney failure, Rev Emmanuel has been on strict diets and kidney dialysis 3 times a week to stay alive costing a huge amount of money.  Rev Emmanuel who happened to be a healthy breadwinner, all of a sudden turns into a burden on his family. His daughter is expected to begin her degree in Pharmacy at the University of Ghana by September 2021. The health condition of Rev Emmanuel has a way of negatively affecting the bright future of his son and daughter. Friends, family and well-meaning individuals have started raising funds to assist in getting him well again.

We ask for your assistance to help him get a kidney transplant estimated at N10, 000 000.00 (Ten Million Naira) including traveling cost, transplant and medication which is expected to be done at the Max Super Specialty Hospital, Delhi India.
