“Elizabeth’s story is heartbreaking. She was tricked and taken advantage of by her own sister, who brought her to Mali under false pretenses. Elizabeth was forced into prostitution to pay off a hefty debt, and was threatened with violence if she did not comply. When she finally managed to pay off her debt, she thought she was free. But soon, Elizabeth’s life took a turn for the worse. She was arrested on false charges and thrown into prison, where she has been for two long years.

In prison, Elizabeth has been struggling to survive. She does menial work, like washing toilets, just to be able to eat. Her three-year-old child is with her, but soon they will be separated, as the child will be sent to an orphanage. Elizabeth has been trying to secure her release by paying a fee of 1.5 million cf, but has been unsuccessful. Now, she needs our help.

Elizabeth is a victim of human trafficking, and is in dire need of assistance. We want to help her by raising funds to secure her release and reunite her with her child.
