The campaign against police brutality in Nigeria has just begun, we are part of the organizers and truth be told, it hasn’t been easy at all. What we thought would be a peaceful protest has turned into a place of intimidation, more intimidation by the police. People we organized to go protests are being shot at, arrested, detained for no reason at all. The police don’t use water canons no, what they use are live ammunitions. You won’t find this kind of oppressive regime even in North Korea. But are we going to back down? No! And that’s why we’ve come here to solicit for international help, to put an end to police brutality and oppression in the biggest black nation on Earth. Our Nigerian protests accounts have we frozen by the government, they are trying everything possible to choke us from every angle but we believe the whole world is watching. Together we stand!
